Crash after minefield puzzle (Full Throttle Remastered)

Some users have reported a rare crash at this point in the game. It seems to particularly affect users who are playing with an AMD graphics card, and usually occurs after the minefield puzzle, after being captured by the Vultures and tied to their bikes with ropes.

In order to work around this issue, some users have mentioned that it helps to turn off both remastered options in the options menu:

Change Art to 'Classic' and Remastered controls to 'Off' and this should enable you to continue as normal. Once you are past the scenes causing the crash, you should be able to turn both these options back on. If this still doesn't work, some users have reported that also switching to windowed mode temporarily can help at this point.
