The beavers won't jump! (Grim Fandango Remastered)

Issue:

I'm trying to get the beaver to jump after my bone but it's just standing there and using the fire extinguisher doesn't help.

Solution:

We've had a couple of reports happening, and after reproducing it, we're still not sure exactly what is going on here.

But we have a possible workaround - if you can go back to the main menu (Esc on PC) and then return to the game, that might trigger the animation of the beaver starting to leap, then you can solve the rest of the puzzle!
