Hack ‘n’ Slash now 1.0 and Extra Hackable!

Put your thinking caps on, Hack ‘n’ Slash is now 1.0! The Early Access community has been a huge help to the game, in providing fantastic feedback and finding clever ways to break the game. Now it’s ready for you to dig into and break to and mold to your heart’s desire. It’s currently 33% off on Steam for a launch special.

The biggest change from the Early Access version is the inclusion of the final act. You’ll have to use the knowledge you’ve developed throughout the game and some clever thinking to break into the castle, ascend the tower, and take down the wizard.

We’ve also now added mod support and Steam Workshop integration, which is especially interesting because we’re shipping the game with the source code. The Hack ‘n’ Slash engine is flexible in a lot of interesting ways because of the hacking mechanic, and we’re really excited to see the clever things people can produce with it.
